Position: Outreach Director

About Us: Neurotech Leuven is a student organization dedicated to advancing the field of neurotechnology through innovation, education, and collaboration. As Outreach Director, you will play a key role in expanding our reach, engaging with external stakeholders, and promoting our mission and initiatives to a broader audience.

Role Overview: As the Outreach Director of Neurotech Leuven, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase awareness of our organization, attract new members and partners, and foster meaningful connections with the broader neurotech community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your communication, networking, and relationship-building skills to drive growth and impact in the neurotech space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute outreach and marketing campaigns to raise awareness of Neurotech Leuven and attract new members, partners, and sponsors.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, academic institutions, student organizations, and community groups.
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging content for social media, newsletters, website, and other communication channels to showcase our activities and initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and information sessions to engage with prospective members, partners, and sponsors and provide them with opportunities to learn about our organization.
• Represent Neurotech Leuven at external events, conferences, and meetings, serving as a brand ambassador and promoting our mission and initiatives to a wider audience.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and communication strategies, gathering feedback from stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize impact and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with diverse audiences.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for finding innovative ways to promote and communicate ideas.
• Previous experience in outreach, marketing, public relations, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Interest in neurotechnology, neuroscience, or related fields is a plus.
