Position: Events Director

About Us: Neurotech Leuven is a dynamic student organization dedicated to advancing the field of neurotechnology through innovation, education, and collaboration. We foster a vibrant community of students passionate about neuroscience, engineering, and technology, working together to explore the frontiers of neurotech.

Role Overview: As the Events Director of Neurotech Leuven, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of events that align with our organization's mission and objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership, and organizational skills while contributing to the growth and success of our vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate a variety of events, including workshops, seminars, hackathons, networking sessions, and social gatherings.
• Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that cater to the interests and needs of our members.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, catering, equipment rental, and scheduling.
• Promote events through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and posters, to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Coordinate with external partners, guest speakers, and sponsors to secure their participation and support for events.
• Evaluate event success and gather feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and future event ideas.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for event planning and execution.
• Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or project management is preferred but not required.
• Interest in neurotechnology, neuroscience, or related fields is a plus.
